Work sent me to Denver and I thought I’d arrive early and get my mom to come in play in the winter wonderland. She jumped at the chance so we’re in Boulder for a long weekend.

I’ve recently learned that if you need to fly out of O’Hare in winter, pay for the upgrade.
Mom’s flight was late. Mine early. We landed within minutes of each other separated by five gates. Then a gargoyle welcomed us to Denver! 😍
